Kirk Cousins is on the road to recovery after suffering a season-ending Achilles injury last term. But his progress could have been reset by his own son as one of them nearly undid all the work his doctors and therapists have put in.
A clip showing Cousins playing with his boys has gone viral as one of them accidentally stepped on his surgically repaired Achilles while trying to climb up to his back.
“Don’t stand on my Achilles please,” the NFL quarterback is heard saying, with his son asking, “Which one’s your Achilles?”
Check it out in the video below:
“Kid must be a packers fan trying to take the Vikings down for another year,” one fan wrote.

Meanwhile, The Vikings QB is headed into free agency following the two-year, $66 million contract he signed with the team in 2022. The Vikings are said to be keen on re-signing him, but they might not be all that keen on paying him what he’s after, with reports claiming he’s looking for a deal worth around $40 million a season.
