The Detroit Lions keep getting to the red zone and failing badly.
The latest mishap resulted in a fumble that was recovered by Khalil Mack. During his epic run back, he lateraled the ball to teammate Eddie Jackson, who gained even more yards on the play. Unfortunately, it was all for naught, as the officials ruled that the lateral was a forward pass, resulting in a 5-yard penalty.

The outside linebacker hurt his foot in the first quarter last week but returned to play in the second half. He was limited Friday in his only practice work of the week, but that hasn’t stopped him from making plays on the field today.

Activating Mack for this game has clearly worked out thus far for the Bears, as they have shut out the Lions through the first half of football. They currently hold a 14-0 lead early in the second half.
