FS1 has found its replacement for Shannon Sharpe after they announced former Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman will join Undisputed as a host alongside Skip Bayless, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post. He’ll “go at it with Bayless on around 50-100 shows per year, mostly during football season,” Marchand added.
Sherman will debate Skip Bayless on around 50-100 shows per year.
Despite adding Sherman, the network still remains interested in also adding Keyshawn Johnson.
The former NFL all-pro wide receiver found himself being fired by ESPM amid massive layoffs. He contributed to the company’s studio NFL shows while hosting a daily radio program alongside Jay Williams and Max Kellerman.
Marchand labeled him a “top candidate” to take Shannon Sharpe’s spot on Undisputed at the time of his firing.
Sharpe left Undisputed in June amid tension with Bayless. Sherman has history with Bayless dating back to issues they had when they went head-to-head on First Take. The former Seahawk told Bayless that he had never accomplished anything in life, and Bayless clapped back by telling the five-time Pro Bowler that he had accomplished more than he ever had in football.
