During Wednesday’s edition of ‘First Take,’ Keyshawn Johnson made some eye-popping comments in regards to Tony Romo.
The former NFL WR went off on quarterbacks being divas, and pointed to former Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo as the No. 1 diva he has been around.
“The moment that we (wide receivers) look like we’re frustrated or we have a certain swag to us, we’re divas,” Johnson said on ‘First Take.’ “But quarterbacks can ask for the highest money, they can decide whether or not. Aaron Rodgers can decide if one day he wants to play. I might need to have some control or else I’m going to do Jeopardy!. If a receiver did that, we would be crucified.”
“I played with Tony Romo on the Dallas Cowboys,” Johnson explained. “Tony Romo is one of the most diva-ish dudes that I’ve ever been around at that position, and he wasn’t even starting at the time.”
During Keyshawn, JWill & Zubin back in May, Johnson railed against quarterbacks as “some of the most selfish dudes there ever is in the National Football League at a position.”

Johnson, whose first autobiography was titled Just Give Me the Damn Ball!, said the diva factor in quarterbacks has been magnified with Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson all becoming the focus of trade speculation during the offseason.
Johnson clearly has a ton of issues with quarterbacks, but let’s not forget how much of a diva he was during his playing days.
