It only took one season in the league for Kenny Pickett to learn quickly about training camp and how grueling it can be.
Because of that, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback decided to bring something special to training camp in 2023.
While he was speaking to the media on Wednesday, he confirmed that he brought a foot massager because of his feet being killed inside cleats all day.
“My feet kill me in cleats every day, so I brought that,” Pickett said. “That was probably the big piece that I brought for this season.”

After being the first-round pick of the Steelers after playing his college ball at Pitt, Pickett came in and worked hard enough to eventually take over the starting job.

Pickett finished with 2,404 passing yards in 13 games and led the team to two game-winning drives down the stretch and those really showed Pickett had arrived.
He played well enough to make sure head coach Mike Tomlin did not suffer the first losing season of his coaching career.
Pickett should have a leg-up on the quarterback competition that includes Mason Rudolph and Mitch Trubisky.
