Another day, another team doesn’t seem to want Antonio Brown and the drama that surrounds him.
Last week, Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones stated, “We’re good over here,” when asked if the Falcons should take a shot at acquiring Brown from the Steelers.
This week, Tampa Bay Bucs head coach Bruce Arians stated Brown wasn’t the same person he knew back around 2010 when he was first drafted and referred to him as a “diva.”
On Wednesday, Kenny Golladay submitted his name in an increasing list of people that do not want the services of Bron on their squad.
The Detroit Lions wide receiver stated during an interview on WXYT that he thought the Lions were more than capable at the position without the former All-Pro.
“To be honest, I feel like the Lions are good where we’re at,” he said, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
The Lions passing game faltered in 2018, which lead to the dismissal of offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter.

“No offense to Antonio Brown, he’s gonna go down as one of the greats, an amazing player,” Golladay said. “But with me, T.J. Jones, Brandon Powell, Chris Lacy, Bruce Ellington — I mean, the list just goes on. All those guys have made plays this year. I have trust in those guys and I know the organization does as well.”
Brown has six straight seasons with more than 100 catches and is widely regarded as one of the best receivers in the NFL, but his recent behavior with the Pittsburgh Steelers is starting to overshadow his greatness on the field.
It was just last week when Steelers President Art Rooney II told reporters last week that it’s “hard to envision” Brown remaining with the team next season. It’s not a matter of if, but when Brown will make his exit from the team.
