Super Bowl performers will occasionally surprise the audience with guest appearances, and it appears that Kendrick Lamar might have a huge one on Sunday.
As the rapper prepares for his halftime performance with SZA at the 2025 Super Bowl, just days after winning both Record of the Year and Song of the Year for his diss track “Not Like Us” at the Grammys, all eyes are back on him for what he might do and who else he might perform with during the halftime show.
The rapper has absolutely dominated the last year in pop culture as he demolished Drake on their battle, and cleaned up at the Grammys with five wins.
Now, Kendrick Lamar has the world watching; Hits Daily Double is reporting that the West Coast rapper has a big surprise in store.
“Hip hop giant brought his broom to Grammys, sweeping up ROTY, SOTY genre wins,” the outlet reported. “En route to massive Massive Super Bowl look (with rumors of a big surprise).”

Maybe he and Drake patched things up behind the scenes, and now they perform together? Not a chance. That would be the biggest shock ever.

Who Else Might Join Kendrick Lamar On Stage?
Kendrick Lamar will be the headliner for the Super Bowl 59 halftime show, and it’s been confirmed that SZA will be there with him.
Super Bowl performances are known for their glamor and grand stage and oftentimes, headlining artists often will bring in surprise guest stars for their show.
If the rapper is going to bring any guests out, it’d likely be someone he has prior songs with to perform.
Maybe there is a chance that Taylor Swift will be that surprising guest.
