Kendrick Bourne tried to FaceTime former Patriots teammate Cam Newton after the latter’s viral melee.
Newton was involved in an altercation at his 7-on-7 tournament in Atlanta on Sunday, with several persons jumping him while he tried separating a fight. Of course, the phones came out, so there was hardly a buffer before the footage reached the web.
Bourne, a wide receiver for the Patriots, tried reaching Newton right after the scuffle but the person who picked up was not his former teammate and was likely the fake Cam who pranked Deebo Samuel.
The guy insisted he was not Cam Newton, as if he needed to prove it, while Bourne laughed his socks off.
The wideout introduced himself because the guy on the other end had no idea who he was.

It’s probably a good thing Cam was not the one who answered that call as he might have been pretty upset at having to speak to a former teammate who had him on a live feed right after he got into it with multiple attackers.
