Keaton Mitchell took his final carry of the year on Sunday Night Football
While rushing against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Ravens’ running back found an opening on the right side but got tackled awkwardly and had a brutal leg injury.
Mitchell’s left knee ended up buckling and seemingly caved in a stomach-turning scene. Slow motion video really captures how brutal the injury was.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said after Sunday night’s win that Keaton Mitchell was likely out for the season after suffering a significant knee injury during the game.

Harbaugh confirmed that report, saying Mitchell’s injury is long-term but he did not suffer any cartilage damage.
Baltimore Ravens fans were feeling good during “Sunday Night Football” but things quickly changed as they lost a huge part of the offense.
Keaton Mitchell came into the game with 38 rushes for 323 yards and two touchdowns. He finished with 91 rushing yards off 13 carries before his injury.
He is the third significant offensive piece lost to injury for the Ravens. Fellow RB JK Dobbins tore his Achilles in Week 1. Mark Andrews suffered an ankle injury that will keep him out for at least the rest of the regular season.
