This is not a great look for Kayvon Thibodeaux.
During the New York Giants’ wild 31-28 comeback victory over the Arizona Cardinals in the desert, one G-Men fan seated behind the team’s bench noticed something peculiar.
Following Saquon Barkley’s fourth quarter touchdown that cut the Cards’ lead to 28-21 (after the Giants had been trailing 28-7 in the second half), the fans recorded the Giants players celebrating at one end of the bench, as a seemingly demoralized Kayvon Thibodeaux sat with his head down at the other end of the bench.
“This, I don’t like,” the fan says as he pans over the a lowly Thibodeaux.
In an effort to add some additional context to the situation, the Giants fans posted the following comment below his video:
“This video I posted was just my opinion, my perspective. I watched it alot yesterday & some last year it just wasn’t at that time of video. Giants just scored go dap it up. On the other hand Idk if he was hurt, meditating or whatever…still my opinion on 1 of my favorite Giants”

After the game, Thibodeaux said he was just “visualizing” and “praying” before a very important upcoming drive for the Giants’ defense.
“When you’re in a situation where the fate of the game lands on one drive or one situation and you’re kind of those people, the defense, the guys who are looked to to answer that, the only person I look to is God,” Kayvon told reporters. “So I’m sitting in that moment and I’m praying and I’m kind of I guess you can say meditating, seeing, visualizing what we’re gonna do as a team.”

Thibodeaux didn’t have his most impactful game on Sunday, recording no tackles and just a quarterback hit despite playing 94 percent of the team’s defensive snaps. What’s most important, though, is his team came away with the victory, avoiding a dreaded 0-2 start with a very tough upcoming stretch on their schedule.
We’ll see if Thibodeaux and the G-Men can keel their heads up over these next couple of weeks.
