Kay Adams was feeling it for a starting NFL quarterback who’s had his season cut short because of a serious knee injury.
New York Giants QB Daniel Jones is done for the year after suffering an ACL tear against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The fixture marked Jones’ first game back after a three-week absence prompted by a neck injury.
He’s now set to miss the rest of 2023 after going down with a non-contact injury that has since been confirmed as an ACL tear.
Jones and Adams speak on her ‘Up & Adams’ show every week but he was not able to make it this Tuesday due to his latest setback.
“He’s not joining us today,” Adams said. “I do want to take a second and send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
“I can’t even imagine how disappointing this must be for him,” she added. “He just gets back from the neck injury. So, you know, I think we’re sending him a little Up & Adams care package. I think we’re sending him Nerd ropes, his favorite candy. Daniel, hope you see this, wishing you the best and hope you feel better.”
