On Wednesday, Katie Nolan took to social media and announced her time with ESPN had come to an end.
“I’ve thought about sending this tweet for weeks and I still have no clue how to make it not make you all roll your eyes. Alas: the obvious thing has happened. I no longer work at ESPN. I’m really grateful for my time here. I made incredible friendships and valuable mistakes.”
ESPN responded statement that read, “We thank Katie for her contributions to ESPN and wish her luck in the future.”
Nolan, who first joined the company in 2017 from Fox Sports, had her show, “Always Late with Katie Nolan,” canceled in early 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nolan was also present on the ‘Highly Questionable’ finale on Sept. 10, 2021, a day after ESPN announced its cancellation.
Nolan further explained what’s next for her and why she is moving on from ESPN.
