Two of the biggest names still available on the open marked have visits scheduled with the same team today.
According to reports, both running back Kareem Hunt and linebacker Anthony Barr will be visiting the New Orleans Saints today.
New Orleans’ decision to bring in Hunt for a visit comes on the heals of the league handing Saints star running back Alvin Kamara a three-game suspension to start the season.
Currently sitting behind Kamara on the Saints’ running back depth chart is 2022 touchdown leader Jamaal Williams and rookie Kendre Miller.
Hunt has spent the last four seasons in Cleveland, where he backed up Nick Chubb. He was widely considered to be the best backup in the NFL during his time with the Browns, but the team had no interest in bringing him back for the 2023 season.

As for Barr, he spent his first eight seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, before joining the Dallas Cowboys for the 2022 season. In nine seasons, the 31-year-old has made the Pro Bowl four times. His addition would go a long way towards fortifying a defense that’s currently led by superstars like Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis, Marshon Lattimore and Tyrann Mathieu.
