The noise surrounding Odell Beckham Jr. signing somewhere soon seemingly died down after his visit with the Dallas Cowboys that revealed he may not be actually ready to play until the postseason begins.
Odell recently made it clear that he is not interested in playing in the regular season.
“I’m not saying I couldn’t step in and play regular season, but I don’t see the point,” Beckham said on Amazon Prime’s TNF in The Shop.
Things kicked back up this week when Jordan Schultz, theScore’s NFL insider, stated that Odell Beckham Jr. has remained in contact with the Kansas City Chiefs as he continues his free-agency tour.
So far, Odell has taken free-agent visits with the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, and Dallas Cowboys.
If Odell does decide to take his talents to Kansas City, he will join a WR room that already features JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney, and Justin Watson.

The 30-year-old is months removed from an ACL tear that he suffered during Super Bowl LVI while with the Los Angeles Rams. Beckham is likely seeking long-term employment and hoping to use the postseason as an audition for 2023 and beyond.
If Beckham is healthy enough to play now, teams should expect him to play right away.
