Allen Lazard is said to be a subject of interest around the league, with a number of teams hoping to sign him ahead of next season.
According to Matthew Berry of NBC Sports, who quotes a source he spoke to at the NFL Scouting Combine, the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens are both particularly keen on landing the wide receiver, who has been playing for the Green Bay Packers since 2018 but is set for free agency in 2023.
It appears the 27-year-old even has persons from NFL teams getting aroused at the thought of having him play for them. Berry claims his source told him someone was heard saying their nipples were hard on account of Lazard during the Combine.
Back to my first night in Indy, where the answer could not be more clear:
“My nipples are hard…for Allen Lazard.”
My source goes on to explain that that was a phrase he heard about Lazard, one of the top free agent wide receivers this year in a fairly thin class. I heard both the Ravens and Chiefs really like Lazard and my sense is that Lazard returning to Green Bay is not out of the question, but an unlikely outcome.
Of course, Lazard returning to the Packers is not out of the question. The player recently revealed that his agent had spoken to the team about a new deal, though it guarantees nothing.
Lazard played 15 games for Green Bay last season and registered the most receiving yards among his teammates with 788, which is also a career-high for him. He scored six touchdowns on 60 catches as well.

The player could well decide to try out another environment this year, especially if Aaron Rodgers leaves or retires. But both the Chiefs and Ravens would do well to land a wideout of his caliber.
