The Kansas City Chiefs may be the new New England Patriots when it comes to fans thinking the refs are on their side.
After going down 10-0 to the Chargers on Thursday Night Football, the refs gave the Chiefs a huge break by calling a defensive penalty on the visiting team that negated an interception.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw up a deep ball on 3rd & 4 to wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the second quarter that was picked off by Chargers safety Nasir Adderley. However, the interception was overturned by an illegal contact penalty on Bolts cornerback Bryce Callahan, which helped keep the drive alive.

Later on in that drive, Mahomes threw an impressive side-arm pass for the touchdown to running back Jerick McKinnon.
