There will be no running back by committee for the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Thursday, Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy announced that Damien Williams will be the full-time starter at the RB position.
“Damien Williams is our starter. We expect him to excel in that role,” Bienemy said, via Brandon Kiley of 610 Sports in Kansas City.
In just three games last season, Williams rushed for 203 yards and three touchdowns while catching 14 passes and another touchdown.
He then took his game to another level by posting 129 yards rushing & a touchdown against the Colts and recording three total touchdowns against the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
