The Chiefs featured an embarrassing home crowd at their Arrowhead Stadium when they played the Raiders on Christmas Day.
Arrowhead is one of the most intimidating venues in the NFL and is one of the few that boasts the feel of a college stadium, with Chiefs fans among the loudest in the league.
That didn’t seem to be the case on Christmas Day, however. The Las Vegas Raiders took advantage of bad weather and poor overall play from the defending Super Bowl champions to win 20-14.
The crowd seemed to have lost faith in their team while they were down 20-7 in the fourth quarter; you could tell from how spacious the seating accommodation appeared from the sky.
Of course, the weather probably had something to do with it. But the Chiefs didn’t cover themselves in glory either.
