Chris Lammons has reportedly turned himself in to authorities for his alleged involvement in an incident earlier this month involving Alvin Kamara and two other men.
According to TMZSports, the Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Lammons, Kamara and two other men —Darrin Young and Percy Harris –are accused of beating up a man outside of a Las Vegas nightclub on February 6th. Kamara allegedly punched the man at least eight times before others got involved.
The 26-year-old Lammons is reportedly facing a charge of one count of battery resulting in serious bodily harm, a felony which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison if convicted.
Kamara, who was arrested after the Pro Bowl at the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium, admitted to throwing punches. He said he did so to prevent Greene from running away, but his story was allegedly contradicted by surveillance videos.
Greene suffered a broken eye socket in the incident.
Lammons has spent the last two seasons with the Chiefs. Last season, he played in 12 games and made six tackles.
