Kadarius Toney is feeling the wrath of the internet tonight, and you can totally argue that be brought this all on himself.
The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver did not leave a good impression on Giants fans during his time in the Big Apple, after he was selected by the GMen with 20th overall pick in the 2021 draft. Finally, after one-and-a-half tumultuous seasons, the Giants cut the cord and sent the underachieving wideout to the Chiefs.
Toney didn’t leave quietly though. He took shots at both the Giants organization, and their female fanbase.
If you thought Giants (and NFL) fans forgot about all of those words from Toney, think again.
Sure, he may have won a Super Bowl seven months ago, but social media is only interested in now. And right now, Toney is having himself a brutal season opener for the defending champs, against the Detroit Lions.
Through three quarters, he had just one catch for one yard on four targets. And worst of all, his brutal drop on a Patrick Mahomes pass that bounced off his hands resulted in an interception that was returned for a touchdown by the Lions.

It didn’t get any better for Toney from there, as he dropped an easy first-down catch moments later.
That’s all the ammunition Giants fans needed, as they and other viewers torched the speedy Chiefs receiver.
In a game where the Chiefs were without their top pass-catcher, Travis Kelce, they were clearly hoping for more from Toney. Maybe he’ll make up for his mishaps with some late game heroics…
But he’ll have to figure out how to catch the ball first.
