Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested Monday on a felony charge of criminal damage of more than $25,000.
Ross was booked into the Johnson County Jail.
His mug shot has since been released:
Ross has been released from the Johnson County Jail in Olathe on a $ 2,500 bond after pleading not guilty to two domestic violence-related charges. Ross is accused of domestic battery and criminal damage to property.
Ross’ ex-girlfriend appeared in court in person Tuesday afternoon.
“Justyn Ross is dragging her through the house and has torn up the house and he does have a firearm inside the residence”.
“He also broke her cell phone. She’s currently calling from a neighbor’s phone,” the dispatch audio states.

The NFL’s personal conduct policy states Ross could face a minimum six-game suspension without pay.
The 23-year-old joined the Chiefs last season as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson. He didn’t compete in 2022 because of injuries. After shining in rookie training camp, Ross was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury, and did not play the entire season.
Ross has played in all of the Chiefs’ seven games this season, recording three catches for 34 yards. In Sunday’s 31-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, Ross played 25% of the Chiefs’ offensive snaps, but was not targeted by quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the passing game.
