Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested on a felony damage charge Monday.
The charge is related to domestic violence, according to Johnson County Sheriff’s Office records. The 23-year-old was arrested and booked into the Johnson County Detention Center in Shawnee, Kansas on a charge related to criminal damage (greater than $25,000), with a level 7 felony charge, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office’s Booking and Release Report.
The report provides no additional details regarding bond and disposition.
According to ESPN, the Chiefs are aware of the arrest, but they declined to comment.
Ross is in his second season with the Chiefs, though he got his first game action during this season. He has 34 yards on three catches over seven games. He did not receive a single target in 17 snaps in the Chiefs’ Week 7 win over the Chargers.
He sat out the 2022 season on injured reserve after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson.
