The Los Angeles Chargers got one of their biggest wins in a long time today, as they took down the defending AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead. But the win may have come at a cost.
Following the thrilling 30-24 victory, Chargers phenom quarterback Justin Herbert was spotted leaving the stadium with his hand wrapped in ice. That’s never a good thing for your signal-caller, but the good news is the injury isn’t expected to be anything serious for the 2020 Offensive Rookie of the Year.
A throwing hand injury is always a concern for a quarterback, so it’ll be interesting to see how much Herbert is able to practice leading up to the team’s week 4 contest against the Raiders. The good news is they play on Monday night. So Herbert will have an extra day to get his hand right.
Be sure to keep you eye on the Chargers’ injury report when they take the field for their first practice of the week on Thursday.
