Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been recognized for his play following Sunday’s win at Arizona. He was named the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week for the first time this season, but not everybody is happy with that news.
The NFL’s official Twitter account had a poll for fans to vote on and they clearly picked Justin Fields, who came in first while Brock Purdy came in second and Joe Burrow came in third place.
Fans took to the comment section and ripped the league for their decision.

Burrow completed 36 of 46 passing attempts during Sunday’s victory against the Cardinals, totaling 317 yards through the air. His great game led to Ja’Marr Chase breaking a franchise record with 15 receptions for 192 yards and three touchdowns.
Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields connected with DJ Moore for 230 yards and three touchdowns as the Chicago Bears clinched their first win of the season by beating the Washington Commanders 40-20 on Thursday night. Fields had four touchdown passes to match his career-high set last week. Fields threw for 282 yards and ran for 57 yards.
49ers QB Brock Purdy threw for 252 yards and a career-high four touchdowns in a 42-10 rout of the Cowboys on Sunday night. his numbers could’ve been even better if not for the blowout.
Because of his win, FedEx will donate $2,000 in Burrow’s name to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), which will be applied to a needs-based scholarship.
