Chicago Bears fans are passionate and they can have love and hate for you within the same week.
With some of that passion comes outrage and anger when things are not going right. Another example of that is the outrage surrounding some of Justin Fields’ comments following the loss on Sunday Night Football.
The former Ohio State Buckeyes star made it clear to the fan base that it hurts in the locker room following losses.
“It hurts more in the locker room than to Bears fans, obviously. At the end of the day, they’re not putting in any work. I see the guys in the locker room every day. I see how much work the put in.”
Fields insinuated that Bears fans aren’t impacted by the losses as much as the players are because “they’re not putting in any work.”
Those comments surely did not sit well with fans in Chicago. They have endured some incredible lows over the years. Telling the passionate fan base that they’re not suffering along with the team after the loss is simply not a good look for the young quarterback.
