Justin Fields is stirring the pot ahead of what could be a trade out of Chicago.
The Bears quarterback has been linked with a move to the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the team thought to be looking to the incoming QB class for a new starter.
Fields, who insisted he wants to remain in Chicago despite unfollowing the outfit on social media during an interview on the ‘St. Brown Brothers Podcast’, was asked what his favorite away NFL stadiums are and said he particularly enjoys visiting Minnesota, Detroit, and Pittsburgh, singling out the Acrisure Stadium and their Terrible Towels.
“Pittsburgh was lit, too,” he said. “I remember going there my rookie year. We went over there, too.”
The QB recalled the ‘Monday Night Football’ matchup vs. the Steelers during his rookie season, claiming the Bears were robbed by the refs, although they won 29-27.
“I’m not gonna get fined, I shouldn’t get fined here, right? Alright, I gotta say it. The refs, they cheated,” he said. “They cheated us outta that game. I’m not gonna lie,” Fields said. “…There’s a flag where if you go back and look it up, bro, there’s a flag at the end of the game. We just get a big play. It’s fourth down, we got a linebacker run off the field. The ref looks back bumps into him. I seen that flag, bro. I’m like, come on. I was sick. But yeah, their stadium was lit. It was cool.”

The Steelers are also thought to be interested in Fields, so it could turn out to be a match made in heaven should the Bears opt to deal him given that he’s already fond of the atmosphere.
