A massive trade proposal has an interesting NFC team making a blockbuster move for Chicago Bears’ quarterback Justin Fields.
The Bears are off to a horrendous 0-4 start, and many fans and prognosticators are already wondering if the team will look to move on from the third-year quarterback. Not only has Fields failed to show his ability to be a franchise QB, but the Bears are well-positioned to land a top QB prospect in the 2024 class that’s headlined by USC’s Caleb Williams.
It’s too soon to deem Fields a bust, but he may need a fresh start to save his career. Could the QB-needy Atlanta Falcons be a potential landing spot for fields?
The FanDuel sportsbook proposed a blockbuster trade that has Chicago trading Justin Fields to the Falcons in exchange for Desmond Ridder, a 2024 third-rounder and a 2025 fifth-round draft choice.
Fields would certainly be an enticing fit in Atlanta’s offense. Head coach Arthur Smith turned Ryan Tannehill into a Comeback Player of the Year Award winner back in 2019, and he’s done wonders with Derrick Henry, Cordarrelle Patterson, Tyler Allgeier and Bijan Robinson.
An offensive guru head coach like Smith just might help Fields reach his sky-high potential. Though he’s struggled as a passer, Fields has dazzled as a runner, having racked up 1,143 rushing yards and eight touchdowns just last season.

If the Bears continue to struggle, perhaps Fields will hit the trade block. And the Falcons should definitely be among the clubs interested.
