The Philadelphia Eagles are getting even better.
Julio Jones was currently an NFL free agent and had been switching teams over the last few years. His free agency ended on Tuesday as the Eagles are signing him to a one-year deal.
Jones played in 10 NFL games last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He caught 24 passes for 299 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
Julio Jones does not have the same step as he used to when he was in the prime of his NFL career. Titans and Bucs both fell flat and now the receiver’s career could be at an end if he is not able to produce with a quarterback like Jalen Hurts and with AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith on the field.
Julio Jones has played in 155 career games and has caught 903 catches for 13,629 yards receiving and 63 touchdowns.
The Eagles are coming off their first loss of the year this past Sunday as they are still tied for the best record with the 49ers and now the Detroit Lions.
