Rivalries aren’t just for the field of play.
Nick Sirianni has widely been praised for what he has done for the Eagles in just his second season with the team. However, not everybody is impressed by him.
When appearing on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” on Thursday, Giants safety Julian Love did not mince a single word on the head coach who got the Eagles to a Super Bowl berth following last Sunday’s NFC Championship win against the 49ers.
“He’s a guy who really is doing a good job cause he’s not getting in the way of his team. He has an experienced roster from top to bottom, offense, defense,” said Love, who then delivered a separate scathing take.
“He’s in for a free ride right now, you guys can coach this team.”
After serving as the Colts’ offensive coordinator from 2018-2020, he would be hired as head coach of the team. This past regular season, the team would finish 14-3, with two victories coming against the Giants.

They would deliver their most important victory against them in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, with the Eagles dismantling the Giants, 38-7.
The Eagles boast eight Pro Bowl selections, including MVP candidate Jalen Hurts. The team arguably had the easiest road to the Super Bowl, but that is the whole point of getting the No. 1 seed in the conference.
They can shut out the noise if they can beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Arizona at the Super Bowl.
The Eagles will face the Chiefs in Super Bowl 2023 on Sunday, Feb. 12, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
