Nick Wright is a noted hater of the New England Patriots franchise, even celebrating on Twitter when the team got ousted from the postseason in the Wild Card round against the Tennessee Titans.
Last week, the Fox Sports 1 host was discussing a hypothetical trade scenario where Julian Edelman would be sent to the Detroit Lions and he got a reply from the man himself.
He responded to the First Things First post that said “If Bob Quinn & Matt Patricia gift Tua Tagovailoa to the New England Patriots and Bill Belichick for the 23rd pick, a third-round pick and Julian Edelman, I’m out!”
In the early morning hours on Saturday, Edelman sent a since-deleted tweet “Nice hairline bro” at Wright.
No one knows for sure if it was being playful or if he was serious, but Wright did respond to him, saying, “Yes, the quarantine has been bad for a number of things, not the least of which is my hair situation. Such is life.”
