One of the best NFL wide receivers of his era is joining FOX Sports to work on their NFL coverage.
On Thursday, FOX Sports announced that New England Patriots’ legend and three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman will be an analyst for their “FOX NFL Kickoff” program, working alongside Michael Vick, Charles Woodson and Charissa Thompson.
Edelman offered the following statement:
“Joining FOX Sports is a dream come true. I grew up watching the NFL on FOX on Sundays, and now being an analyst for ‘FOX NFL Kickoff’ feels full circle. Twelve years in this league has given me insight and opinions that I’m eager to share alongside the talented FOX NFL cast and crew.”
Edelman played his entire career, which spanned from 2009 to 2020, with the Patriot. Though he was never named to a Pro Bowl, the former seventh-round pick cemented himself as one of the most clutch players in NFL history.
Edelman was a key cog in the Patriots’ Super Bowl 49, 51 and 53-winning championship teams. He caught the game-winning touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks in SB 49 and kept the club’s hope alive against the Atlanta Falcons in SB 51 with arguably the greatest catch in NFL history:

He was named the MVP of Super Bowl 53 as well after hauling in 10 receptions for 141 yards in a 13-3 New England victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
Injuries limited Edelman to six total games in his final season with the Patriots in 2020. He finished the year with 21 receptions for 315 yards. For his career, Edelman hauled in 620 receptions for 6,822 yards and 36 receiving touchdowns. He surpassed 1,000 yards receiving in the 2013, 2016 and 2019 seasons.
