JuJu Smith-Schuster was running a route during the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars when he took a nasty hit that left his body in the same type of fencing position that we all saw with Tua.
Smith-Schuster ran across the middle to catch a pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes when Jaguars safety Andre Cisco hit him helmet to helmet, forcing Smith-Schuster to get knocked with his arms straight up in the air.
Smith-Schuster left Sunday’s game against the Jaguars and was placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol.
The incident took place on Sunday afternoon, and the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver has just broken his silence on the hit. The 25-year-old wide receiver shared photos of himself on Instagram and captioned it, “All is well, be back soon.”
Smith-Schuster’s mother, Sammy Toa-Schuster, also shared an update on her son’s condition in an Instagram story.

“Prayer report to everyone who texted me and called!!! My baby is A-okay… Thank you so much for the over pouring of love and support. We really appreciate you all!!! My Baby is OKAY.. #ChiefsKingdom,” Toa-Schuster wrote over a picture of her at Arrowhead Stadium with Smith-Schuster.
NFL fans are waiting patiently to see how long Smith-Schuster will be out as the NFL’s concussion protocol is a multi-phase, multi-day process to determine when he will be ready to return.
After suffering two head injuries within five days, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sparked a new discussion about NFL safety, resulting in the NFL Players Association reviewing the league’s concussion protocol.
At most, JuJu might miss at least one game.
