Steelers running back James Conner and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster have thousands of dollars less in their bank account this week, because the NFL deemed them to violate the dress code during their Week 7 game against the Titans.
On Tuesday, the league levied down $5,000 fines to both of them for wearing their socks too low, citing that the socks “failed to cover your lower leg.”
Schuster posted a copy of the fine letter on his Instagram story:
Conner and Smith-Schuster can both appeal the fine if they so choose to do so.
