If Fox Sports host Joy Taylor wanted to rile up Dallas Cowboys, she certainly did that after she stated her opinion about their star quarterback.
Prescott is constantly under the national microscope, as the Dallas Cowboys are often the center of the NFL universe.
Taylor took to her show this week and claimed that Prescott was not talented enough to make it to the NFC Championship game.
“Dak Prescott is not that talented. We’ve seen that,” Taylor said. “He is good enough to get a team to the playoffs, Kirk (Cousins) does that. He is good enough to win a playoff game, Kirk does that. He is good enough to have a high-flying offense, a good regular season record, win a division. And all of those are inherently good things that make you a franchise quarterback. But we don’t have to talk about you as if you are a Super Bowl contender.
Dak Prescott has now led the Dallas Cowboys for seven seasons, with only moderate team success to show for it. Taylor went on to call Prescott the reason that the team has come up short in the postseason while stating that this is the reason that the Cowboys should not be viewed as true contenders in the NFC.

As many pointed out, we are coming off a season where we saw a seventh-round rookie in San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy bring the 49ers to the NFC Championship game. Purdy had the more talented team behind him, but he is certainly not more talented than Prescott.
However, Prescott will need to prove his talent on the field when it matters if he wants to disprove Taylor’s point.
Dak Prescott finished the 2022 NFL season with 2,860 yards, 24 touchdowns, and only played 12 games. All in all, it was not Prescott’s best season due to many interceptions, but he looks to bring the Dallas Cowboys back to the playoffs in the 2023-2024 NFL season.
