Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse for the Raiders, they would go out and blow a 17-0 lead to the Jacksonville Jags.
The connection between Derek Carr and Davante Adams was looking electric and it looked as if Las Vegas would get back on track against a struggling Jacksonville squad.
After leading 17-0, Las Vegas was outscored 27-3 the rest of the game. They blew yet another 17-point lead this season and fell to 2-6. Through just eight games this season, the Raiders have blown three 17-point leads.
During the game, frustrations boiled over as head coach Josh McDaniels could be seen telling Carr to use his head.
The Raiders now have a 5 percent chance of making the playoffs, according to FiveThirtyEight’s projection.
Blowing these big leads has become all too common for the Raiders.
