New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold has gotten way better after missing the past two games with Mononucleosis.
However, Darnold will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The young QB was out on the field before the matchup, and before he met with current Eagles backup and former teammate Josh McCown, he made sure to troll him by covering up his face and hand before greeting him.
Darnold took the troll well.
McCown came out of retirement to sign with the Eagles after Nate Sudfeld suffered an injury during the preseason. He was Darnold’s mentor as a rookie last season.
