The Raiders and Giants agreed to a trade that shocked a lot of people as it saw tight end Darren Waller head to New York in exchange for a third-round pick (No. 100 overall) in the 2023 NFL draft.
Las Vegas running back Josh Jacobs did not seem to take too kindly to the news as he posted his NSFW reaction to Twitter.
“S—s sad fr,” said Jacobs.
The Raiders entered the 2022 season with high expectations, but they were largely disappointing. Despite that, Jacobs was one of the few bright spots. He tallied a league-leading 1,640 rushing yards and had a career-high 12 rushing touchdowns.
The Raiders placed the franchise tag on Jacobs this offseason, keeping him in Las Vegas for one more year.
He’s set to hit unrestricted free agency after the 2023 season.
