Josh Jacobs reportedly has a destination in mind as he gets set to leave the Raiders.
The running back is entering free agency for the first time in his career and is coming off a bit of a disappointing season, by his standards.
Jacobs registered 805 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns, both career lows, in 2023, having played 13 games. The previous season, he led the NFL in rushing yards with 1,653, adding 12 scores. While he experienced a dip last term, he is still going to be one of the top RBs on the market.

He is now being linked to the Bears, who appear keen on adding a running back when the free agency window opens next week. The team is expected to pursue Saquon Barkley, another star RB who will be available, but Jacobs’ name has popped up as another viable option, with the parties now thought to have mutual interest.
According to Bears radio sideline reporter and ESPN 1000 Bears analyst Jason McKie, Jacobs would “love” to play for Chicago, while the Bears are also interested in his services.

Speaking on the ‘Chicago Bears Podcast with Pat The Designer’, McKie said, “I know from his standpoint, Josh would love to be in a Bears uniform.”
He then revealed that he shares agents with the NFL star.
“I texted him [Jacobs] would look great in a Bears uniform,” he added. “He’s like, ‘Hey, there’s mutual interest’.”
McKie made it clear he wasn’t claiming the Bears would go all out in an attempt to sign Jacobs but insisted that there’s interest on both the player and the team’s side.
