Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback Josh Dobbs was hoping to purchase his own jersey at the team store, but there was just one unexpected problem…
Dobbs posted a video of himself trying to order a custom Cardinals’ jersey with his name on it. When he went to the Cardinals’ roster to pick out the player name for the back of the jersey, the veteran journeyman quickly realized that his name wasn’t available:
But in this edition of “All’s well that ends well,” the Cardinals quickly corrected the error and made Dobbs’ jersey available. The 28-year-old even shared a video of himself opening up his very own Josh Dobbs jersey!
Arizona acquired Dobbs in a trade with the Cleveland Browns ahead of the regular season. The Cardinals surprised everybody when they released their backup quarterback in Colt McCoy, opting to go forward with Dobbs and rookie Clayton Tune at QB with Kyler Murray still sidelined.

Dobbs nearly led Arizona to upsets over the Washington Commanders and New York Giants, but they fell just short in both contests. Dobbs led Jonathan Gannon to his first coaching win in Week 3, however, by helping Arizona to a stunning 28-16 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3.
It’s still unclear when Murray, recovering from surgery on a torn ACL he suffered last December, will return to action. Dobbs will try to lead Arizona to another upset when they visit the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday.
