A worrying update has come out on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen following a reported shoulder injury.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott told reporters on Wednesday morning that the QB would be limited in today’s practice. However, according to the team’s injury report, Allen did not participate at all.
The signal-caller originally showed up on the report on October 25 and was limited on the day. He has had five full practices since then and played in last Thursday’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though he visited the medical tent at one point.
The QB claimed to be “a little sore,” adding “it will “take a lot for me not to play” against the Cincinnati Bengals this coming Sunday.
Also listed as DNP was cornerback Rasul Douglas, who joined Buffalo via a trade on Tuesday. Douglas, though is not injured – the team said the reason for his absence was “just got there.”
Cornerback Kaiir Elam (ankle), safety Damar Hamlin (illness), and linebacker Baylon Spector (hamstring) missed Wednesday’s practice too, while tight end Quintin Morris (ankle) did limited work.
