Regardless of how things turn out on the field, Josh Allen has already won the playoffs when it comes to one commercial.
Winning a playoff game because of home-field advantage is one thing, but doing so because a quarterback starred in a commercial next to a cartoon character might be next level.
The Buffalo Bills looked like a team that would miss out on the playoffs after a rough go in the regular season, but then they turned it on suddenly and reeled off several key victories.
Their home game against Pittsburgh was postponed from Sunday to Monday due to a blizzard in Buffalo but they still walked out with a 31-17 win. Some credited a Highmark Stadium advantage, while others embraced the “feed the pit” conspiracy as some fans have been allegedly sacrificing themselves for the betterment of the team.
Others are convinced it has everything to do with Peppa Pig.
The quarterback starred in a Paramount+ commercial that debuted during the Bills-Steelers playoff game.
Alongside him were the CBS team of Tony Romo, Jim Nantz, and Tracy Wolfson for additional commentary in the battle of a better arm between Allen and Scourge the Transformer. Allen could be seen standing next to Peppa Pig.
