Josh Allen is ready for all of this drama to stop and he is placing the blame on the media for keeping it up.
The Buffalo Bills have spent the last couple of seasons as a Super Bowl favorite as they bolster a high-powered offense led by MVP-candidate quarterback Josh Allen, and a defense that has ranked in the top-2 in three of the last four seasons.
Along with Allen, Diggs has formed one of the best QB/WR combinations in the league since his arrival ahead of the 2020 season. He has made the Pro Bowl in all three of his years in Buffalo, and led the league in both catches and receiving yards in 2020.
It has not exactly been roses and bubbles since the last time we saw them on the field. The team lost in their Divisional Round playoff game last season against the Cincinnati Bengals, losing 27-10 against the reigning AFC Champions. Diggs had just four catches for 35 yards in the contest, and his frustration boiled over on the snowy sidelines.
There were rumblings that the two were having issues, but Allen is dispelling that notion this week.
“I love him. That’s my guy,” Allen explained. “The media has blown this so far out of proportion… We’re not playing a game for four months. He doesn’t show up for one day.
“[The media] is still talking about it. Let it go.”

Last month, the Buffalo Bills quarterback said that he did not think there is a personality conflict between him and Diggs but that there are things that could have gone better last year. He placed some responsibility on himself, saying, “There’s things that I could do better to help out with this process and try to get him back here and be the Buffalo Bill that he’s meant to be.”
Diggs signed a four-year, $96 million extension last offseason. His deal included $70 million guaranteed, the third most all-time for a wide receiver.
Diggs has totaled 1,200-plus receiving yards in each of his three seasons with the Bills. He has totaled 29 touchdowns.
Having Diggs and Allen on the same page is critical for the team’s success.
