A Bills Mafia member took things way too far while trying to get a Josh Allen autograph out at Bills camp last weekend. Allen was unsuspectingly on the receiving end of a pass after Buffalo Bills training camp and he was clearly pissed about it.
An unidentified member in the stands threw a football that was in its original cardboard packaging at the signal-caller and it hit Allen directly in the groin, prompting him to turn around and make his displeasure known.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback recently made it known he’s happy to sign autographs for children, but often opts out on giving his signature to adult fans.
“I try to sign just for the kids,” Allen said, per the Buffalo News. “There’s some, you hate to see it and you know it, and you can tell it’s not their item. It is what it is. . . . I pick out the kids. I do apologize to the adults. Kids are kinda what makes this go. I remember being that kid.”
Allen has often told the story of why he feels so strongly about signing autographs because he remembers being snubbed by a San Francisco Giants player after a game.
“That just left an impression in me, I was like, ‘I don’t want to root for this guy anymore,’ ” Allen said two years ago. “It bothered me so much that I told myself if I was in a position like I am today, I will do everything in my power to make sure I just acknowledge every kid that looked up to me that was a fan because I’ve been there before and I know how bad it hurt me when that athlete that I looked up to didn’t seem like he cared too much about us.”

Last season, Allen threw for 4407 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions. He also added 763 yards on the ground and six scores.
He is hoping to rebound from last season’s playoffs where his team squandered a last second lead against the Chiefs and lost in overtime.
