Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been confirmed as the athlete for the upcoming Madden 24 video game following rumors he would go into next season as the face of said title.
Fans did not seem to be happy with the idea but it’s hard to deny that Allen is one of the biggest stars in the NFL at the moment.
Publishers EA Sports released a trailer for the highly-anticipated football game this Wednesday, revealing Allen as the latest member of the elite Madden cover club.
This is one of the most prestigious honors an NFL player could be presented with and Allen was rightly chuffed to learn he is set to grace the next iteration of the popular title.
He will be wary of the “Madden curse,” however. Players who have made the cover before have gone on to experience some form of bad luck, whether it be on or off the field. For now, though, there’s only reason to celebrate.
