NFL cameras caught a heartwarming conversation between Josh Allen and Joe Burrow following the Buffalo Bills-Cincinnati Bengals game on Sunday night.
The two AFC heavyweights met in a highly-anticipated “Sunday Night Football” showdown at Paycor Stadium in a rematch of their 2022 AFC Divisional Round showdown. The Bengals outlasted the Bills 24-18 to improve to 5-3 on the year.
NFL cameras filmed a short and sweet conversation between Allen and Burrow following the contest, with the pair of superstars exchanging kind messages at midfield:
Sunday night marked the third ever showdown between Allen and Burrow. They first met in Week 17 of last year, but that game was canceled after Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest in the first quarter.
Medical personnel was able to restore Hamlin’s heartbeat, and he was discharged from the hospital after just nine days.
The Bengals and Bills met again in the Divisional Round. Burrow and Cincinnati dominated and cruised to a 27-10 victory in a snow-filled affair, punching their ticket to a second straight AFC Championship Game.

In Sunday’s contest, Burrow completed 31 of 44 pass attempts for 348 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. Allen himself had a solid outing with 26 completions on 38 pass attempts for 258 yards and a touchdown to go along with 44 rushing yards and a touchdown.
The Bengals will host the Houston Texans on Sunday, while the Bills will play host to the Broncos on Monday night.
