In 1999, the Bills made the playoffs with an 11-5 record. They would not experience that again until 2017.
Fast forward to 2022 and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has his team in the playoffs for the 3rd-straight year. However, the team is the AFC’s No. 3 seed but not getting the respect heading into Sunday’s Divisional Round game against the Chiefs.
Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Allen was asked to talk about the perceived lack of respect his Bills are getting.
“We want the respect that we deserve but at the same time I could give 2 shits about all of that.. I’m so focused trying to win football games for this team,” Allen said.
This Divisional Round game is a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship Game, which the Chiefs won 38-24. The Bills got some semblance of revenge when they defeated the Chiefs in the regular season, 38-20.
