Brittany Williams, the girlfriend of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, has addressed the team’s heartbreaking loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
On Sunday, the Bills were overmatched by Joe Burrow and the defending AFC Champions, who cruised to a 27-10 victory in the snowy conditions at Highmark Stadium. With that, the Bills saw a once-promising season end in the Divisional Round for the second straight year.
On her Instagram Story (h/t TMZ Sports), Williams posted a heartwarming message for Allen and that included the following:
“So proud of this man. You are the most amazing & selfless person I know. Through all the highs of this season and the many many trials of adversity your team faced, you remained the same & never wavered. The story is already written. So much to be proud of. So much to be thankful for. Riding with you til the end 17!”
Allen had another MVP-like season for the Bills, leading the franchise to a fourth straight playoff berth and to a third consecutive AFC East division title. Buffalo narrowly got past the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card Round, and they entered Sunday as a considerable favorite over Cincy.
Burrow had a field day against the AFC’s best defense, completing 23 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns against zero interceptions. The Bengals will meet Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game for the third consecutive year.
