The Buffalo Bills have released a major update regarding Josh Allen’s fitness following his recent injury.
Allen is dealing with a shoulder issue and had previously been listed as day-to-day given his soreness. But Bills head coach Sean McDermott has since offered some positive news, albeit vaguely, on the quarterback’s availability.
Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network has provided some quotes from McDermott on the injury,
“I’ll know more a little bit after today and seeing how he does out there, and, [all injuries are] always a concern, as you said. … Right now, it’s a one day at a time approach. So, we’ll see,” the head coach is said to have told reporters on Wednesday.
McDermott said the QB would be “alright” earlier this week, though he did not reveal whether he was expected to be available for the Bills’ game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
“We’ve been around each other enough, he’ll communicate it if things raise to a certain level,” McDermott claimed, indicating he trusts the signal-caller to be honest with him about how he feels heading into week 7.
