Josh Allen has called Aaron Rodgers out for cheating him at golf following a tournament they both played in earlier this year.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback was speaking on the ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast when he was asked whether his rival QB was dishonest during the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and was quick to say that he did.
“He did,” Allen said tersely. “I love Aaron, but he did.”
Allen went on to explain that Rodgers “sandbagged the world” by inflating his handicap by up to possibly nine strokes. Rodgers played with a handicap of 10 but Golf Digest reports his normal handicap is three.
“He may have gotten seven or eight strokes too many at Pebble Beach, or nine,” Allen added. “That’s from what other sources are saying, I’m not saying that.”
Fortunately for Allen, he will have plenty of chances to get back at the New York Jets QB as Rodgers is now in the AFC East. The Bills and Jets play each other in Week 1 on September 11 in what’s expected to be a thrilling Monday Night Football matchup. Buffalo is currently favored to win.

The teams will meet again on November 19 and, should they both perform as expected, could clash in the playoffs as well. The Jets have their work cut out for them on that front, though, having missed the postseason every year since 2010.
Of course, they’re expected to at least make it there now that Rodgers is around.
