Tyler Bass forced overtime with a field goal but it just wasn’t enough as the Bills would go three and out to start overtime and lose on a punt return for a touchdown.
Josh Allen made bad reads, forced the ball into tight windows, and fumbled at the most inopportune time. The Bills franchise quarterback spent all offseason discussing the importance of limiting turnovers and it took all of one game for turnovers to cost them a Week One victory.
After his late-game fumble, even Mark Sanchez had to jump in on trolling him.
As you are well aware, Sanchez is referencing the “Butt Fumble” that he is most famous for. Sanchez collided with the butt of Brandon Moore, thus causing a fumble and becoming a meme forever.
Not only did Allen make history with his four turnovers, it tied a career-high. Allen also had four turnovers against the Jets in 2019.
